Aaiden's 4th Birthday Cookies

Our good friend Aaiden had his birthday party at a martial arts center. His birthday was April 5th but I wasn't posting for a while and I'm still playing catch up.

I had never done a set of cookies like this so it was all a learning experience! It looks like it's missing something because it is; there was supposed to be a red icing, but no matter what I tried it looked pink. This was the night before the party so I had to stick with what I had.

The kids looked at the throwing stars and all the girls called them snowflakes, and I couldn't convince them otherwise. That one needs a redesign! The cookie shape is a star so there's room to work with.

When I tried looking for ninja-head shaped cookie cutters I only found TMNT heads or LEGO shapes. So the heads are an apple shaped cookie cutter.

I'm sad the red didn't work out but I learned a lot, and I had fun making them.
